The Good Canvas Mockup Instructions
How To Add Your Own Design
You’ll need Photoshop to open this mockup.
Follow these steps to add your designs to the Photoshop smart layer.
1. Double click on the thumbnail of the ‘Your Design + Brightness Adjustment’ layer, shown below. This will open a new tab in Photoshop.
2. In the new Photoshop tab, click File > Place Linked, select your design and click ‘Place’
3. Scale the image so it fills the blank space and once you are happy with the image position go to File and then click Save. You can then close this tab, or leave it open in case you might want to make tweaks again.
4. You will then see that your design is now placed in the correct position. To edit the image again, simply repeat the above.
Editing Options – Screen Brightness and Shadows
We’ve added a few extra layers to help you really customize your mockup and screen brightnes, screen reflection and gradual blur.
To adjust the screen brightness, go to the ‘Your Design + Brightness Adjustment’, layer and click on it and then move up to Opacity. As you move the opacity slider left and right (0-100), you’ll notice your screen getting darker or lighter, just like it would on an ipad.
To adjust the screen reflection, go to the ‘Screen Reflection and Shadows’, layer and click on it and then move up to Opacity. As you move the opacity slider left and right (0-100), you’ll notice your shadows and reflection adjusting. Depending on your image you may want to use it or hide this layer.
