5 Ways To Increase Traffic to Your Website – Did I Mention They’re Free?
5 Ways To Increase Traffic to Your Website
One of the most common questions I get asked, what can I do today that is ENTIRELY FREE that will help me boost traffic to my website?
Here’s exactly where I would start!
No. 01 – Write A Blog Post
And then, continue to write a blog post at least once every two weeks. Blog posts (or essentially pages on your site) that are copy heavy and written to engage and inform your visitors on a topic that they’ve searched for are EXTREMELY effective at building word density on your site. But, Why is that important?
Because it’s what google will search and index when deciding where to put your site and in front of which users.
? By writing carefully chosen and relevant blog posts, you’ll be giving google a huge boost in getting your website in front of potential clients. ?

No.02 – Submit Your Site To Google
Submitting your site to search engines might sound very technical, but it’s a pretty easy process and one that is so often skipped. When you submit a site to a search engine (Google, most likely), it’ll crawl through the pages, process important information, and then index it in the search index. As you can imagine, this helps get your pages to rank higher on the search engine. And while Google will find your website eventually even if you don’t submit it, you’re speeding up the process and highlighting new and important pages instantly.
? Taking crawling into your own hands vastly improves your odds of ranking well. ?

No.03 – Pinterest!
Never underestimate the power of Pinterest, a social media platform that stands out from all the others. Like Instagram, it’s visually driven but has the advantage of making page links rewarding.
Does your ideal client hang out on Pinterest?
Probably.
Do their searches cross over with your product offerings or services?
Make sure you choose professional, interesting pictures that people will want to click on and read. One of the drawbacks of such a popular platform is that it’s easy to get drowned out by the competition.
But, if you’re lucky enough to have a pin go viral, it’ll have a very long shelf life.
? A top-of-the-line CTR for a pin is about 0.9%. It might sound low, but if your pin gets millions of views, this could translate to tens (or hundreds) of thousands of page visits. ?

No.04 – Build Your Newsletter
Have you started an email marketing campaign yet?
You should start by creating a lead magnet. Lead magnets should ideally mix information, valuable tips, and promotions. Better yet, you can repurpose email marketing as blog posts by expanding on your original ideas. It works the other way round, too. While it might take you a few days to get a decent run of emails written up, you can then schedule them using an automated tool. After this, you can sit back and watch the visits roll in.
No.05 – Spend Time On Engagement
Reach out to other industry or related industry professionals and influencers and offer to share the thing you’re an expect on – whether it’s a tutorial, freebie or a guest post where you can link to your site in the text.
When that content gets published, it will link back to your site.
You’ll receive new prospects to your site and increase your overall website audience but the backlink to your site will signal google that your site is useful and authentic, helping your score and search result ranking.
